Improve your birdwatching skills and your birding experience by learning some essential tools and techniques over this 4 part programme. The ‘Be a better birdwatcher’ series follows on from the ‘Tools of the Trade’ session held earlier in the year. Your birds need you in difficult weather conditions. Understanding what they have to go through, and how they survive will help you to enjoy them in all seasons. In session 4 you’ll learn about the harsh weather conditions that affect both birds and birdwatchers alike. Your understanding will ensure your safety and comfort and help you to watch wildlife in a range of conditions without compromising the safety of your subjects. Price £15 per person . Transport No transport. Meet at Hollybush Conservation Centre at 19:00. What to expect Indoor sessions take place in the Hollybush TCV classroom . Classes last 2 hours with refreshments at 20:00. Toilets are available at the centre. Note for beginners These sessions are aimed at those new to birdwatching or anyone who would like to increase their understanding of the hobby. What to wear The classroom can get a little chilly at times so dress warmly.
