There’s no better way to support wildlife than to provide a haven in your own garden and you can do this very effectively in an urban environment. Increase the number of visiting species of birds by understanding seasonal changes in diet. You’ll learn about the plants needed to provide an all year source of nectar and how to attract birds at different times of the year. At the end of the session you’ll make your own garden improvement plan. Price £15 per person . Transport No transport. Meet at Hollybush Conservation Centre at 19:00. What to expect Indoor sessions take place in the Hollybush TCV classroom . Classes last 2 hours with refreshments at 20:00. Toilets are available at the centre. Note for beginners These sessions are aimed at those new to birdwatching or anyone who would like to increase their understanding of the hobby. What to wear The classroom can get a little chilly at times so dress warmly.
