A change to the initial tour planned for this day due to flood alleviation work being carried out at Paull Holme Strays. Instead we’ll spend the first half of the day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s North Cave Wetlands (with the option of a bacon butty at the start) then we’ll finish off the day at RSPB Blacktoft Sands. Both of these reserves will give us ample opportunity to study migrating waders, wildfowl and hedgerow birds. Work at Paull Holme Strays is due to be completed by the end of the year after which there will be another chance to visit the reserve. Price £65 including refreshments.
