What to wear The trick to maintaining the right body temperature in early spring is by bringing plenty of layers and ensuring you’re waterproof. Please don’t wear jeans as they will wick moisture from low growing vegetation. Bring a waterproof coat, over-trousers and sturdy, waterproof boots. Scarf, gloves, hat and sunscreen may be needed and it’s a good idea to carry spare gloves.
