Happy spring everyone.

Start Birding classes are in full swing and we’ve been having some amazing wildlife experiences. One of the most notable was watching a full reed dance by local great crested grebes at St Aidan’s nature reserve.

On Tuesdays, classes range from 2 hours to a full day to allow us to visit some spectacular habitats in Yorkshire. More often we visit local parks and woodlands in and around Leeds.

Friday’s are my special breakfast birding days – a breakfast butty at a local cafe followed by 2 hours of birding in the Lower Aire Valley. We have a wealth of wildlife along the River Aire from Leeds to Castleford and each Friday we explore a different section.

On Saturdays, we travel further afield visiting places such as Bempton Cliffs, Saltholme and Spurn Point.
